How the lesson starts: Shape Attributes

  1. The shape parade!

Toot toot! Welcome to the shape parade! Pip leads the way with a drum. Every shape is marching by. Let's count their sides and corners!

  2. Sides and corners

A triangle has 3 sides and 3 corners. A square has 4 sides and 4 corners. A pentagon has 5. A hexagon has 6. Straight sides always match the corners!

  3. Curvy and solid shapes

A circle is curvy, with no straight sides and no corners. Solid shapes march too! A cube, a sphere, a cylinder and a cone.
