How the lesson starts: Bridge: Integrate Information Across Sources

The Treetop Times
Welcome to the Treetop Times newsroom! Editor Hazel the hedgehog gets two reports on the same topic. Kiri the fox writes one. Dax the badger writes the other. Hazel looks for facts that both reports share.
Two reports
Kiri's report, Text A. Hummingbirds beat their wings very fast. Their fast wings let them hover by flowers. They drink nectar with long tongues. Dax's report, Text B. A hummingbird's heart beats very fast. To keep going, it must drink nectar all day.
Let's find what both say
Hazel draws two circles. Kiri's facts go on the left. Dax's facts go on the right. Both say hummingbirds drink nectar, so that goes in the middle. Find the fact in Text A, then find it again in Text B!
