How the lesson starts: Compare and Order Lengths

1. Wiggles knits scarves

   Hi, friend! Meet Wiggles the caterpillar. Wiggles knits scarves. Long ones. Short ones. Wiggly ones! Friends ask, which is longest? Let's help Wiggles!

2. Start at the same spot

   Here is the red scarf. Here is the blue scarf. Both start at the same spot. Now look at the ends. Red goes farther. So red is longer. Blue is shorter.

3. Put them in order

   A ribbon, a pencil and a book. Shortest to longest? The pencil is shortest. Then the book. Then the ribbon. Watch out! Longest to shortest flips it. Ribbon, book, pencil.
