   Hello! Meet Benny the beaver. Benny is building a dam. He measures each log with same-size tiles. Some tiles are on. How many more fit?

2. On it, and still empty

   Benny started to cover the rope. 3 tiles are on it. See the empty spots? Count them. 1, 2, 3, 4. 4 more tiles fit!

3. Two boxes

   A stick is 6 tiles long. 2 tiles are on it. Tiles on it: 2. Count the empty spots. 1, 2, 3, 4. Tiles to add: 4. Watch out! 6 is the whole stick. It goes in no box.
