1. Captain Nova's stars

   Hi friend! Captain Nova flies a rocket. She collects stars! Today she has 7 + 5 + 3 stars. That looks hard. But there's a space trick. Let's learn it!

2. Ten friends

   Some numbers are best friends. They make 10! 1 and 9. 2 and 8. 3 and 7. 4 and 6. These are ten friends.

3. Spot the friends

   Look at 4 + 7 + 6. Which two make 10? Check each pair. 4 and 7 make 11. 7 and 6 make 13. 4 and 6 make 10! Watch out! The friends may not sit side by side.
