  1. Kiki's big race

    Ready, set, go! Kiki the rabbit is running a race. The race starts at 10 and ends at 20. Coach Ray puts a flag exactly halfway. Where does the flag go?

  2. Same steps each way

    Kiki starts at 10. The finish is at 20. Hop from 10 to 15: that's 5 steps. Hop from 20 back to 15: 5 steps too! Same distance from both ends. 15 is halfway!

  3. Walk in from both ends

    A new race from 13 to 19. Take one step in from each end: 14 and 18. Again: 15 and 17. Again: both land on 16! So 16 is halfway, 3 steps from each end.
