How the lesson starts: Number Constraint Challenges

Detective Dot's case
Hello, detective! Meet Detective Dot. She has a mystery number case. The secret number must fit every single clue. Grab your magnifying glass!
Clues one and two
Clue one: greater than 240. So the number comes after 240. Clue two: less than 260. So it comes before 260. The mystery number lives between them! 240 and 260 don't count.
Test each suspect
Clue three: the number is even. Test some suspects. 238 is even, but too small. 247 is between, but odd. 261 is too big. 252 is between and even. It fits every clue!
