Hi, sports fan! Coach Benny the beaver runs the Tiny Games for toy animals. He measures jumps in feet, but the judges want inches! Let's help him change units.
3 feet in inches
Frog jumps 3 feet! Each foot is 12 inches. Hop 12 for each foot, three times: 12, 24, 36. So 3 feet = 36 inches. That's 3 × 12.
A 6-hour snail race
The snail race lasts 6 hours! How many minutes is that? The rule: 1 hour = 60 minutes. So 6 hours is 6 × 60. 6 × 6 = 36, so 6 × 60 = 360 minutes! Watch out: small units mean a bigger number, so multiply.
