How the lesson starts: Read Consonant Digraphs

Shh! Meet Sheldon
Shh! This is Sheldon the sheep. Sheldon runs the Team-Up Club. In his club, two letters team up. Together they make one brand new sound. A team like this is a digraph.
Four teams
Meet four teams. S H says the sound in shoe. C H says the sound in cheese. T H says the sound in thumb. Stick out your tongue! W H says the sound in whale.
Let's match a sound
Sheldon makes a sound. It is the first sound in shoe. Which team makes it? Not C H. That is cheese. Not T H. That is thumb. It is S H, like Sheldon!
