How the lesson starts: Spell One-Syllable Patterns

Ollie's mail route
Meet Ollie the owl. Ollie delivers letters all over the forest. But a misspelled word makes a letter get lost! Let's help Ollie pick the right spelling.
Many ways to spell long
A long vowel can be spelled many ways. Long A: cake, rain, play. Long E: feet, leaf. Long I: bike, night. Long O: home, boat, snow. Each word uses just one.
Sound-alike words
