How the lesson starts: Keep Verbs, Tense, and Pronouns in Agreement

Tuck's Time Machine
Meet Tuck, a tortoise with a time machine shaped like a teapot! It has three buttons: Yesterday, Every Day, and Right Now. Each button changes the verb in a sentence. Ready to time travel?
Time words pick the verb
Watch the verb change. Yesterday, Tuck walked to the pond. Every day, Tuck walks to the pond. Right now, Tuck is walking to the pond. The time words are clues. They tell you which verb form to use.
Rule-breaker verbs
Most past verbs end in E, D, like jumped and played. But some verbs break the rule. Run becomes ran. Eat becomes ate. Go becomes went. Find becomes found. Tuck learns these by heart.
