Use Relative and Interrogative Words
Use relative pronouns/adverbs and, where required by California, interrogative pronouns correctly in sentences.
How the lesson starts: Use Relative and Interrogative Words

All aboard the Link Line
Meet Conductor Pim, a penguin who runs the Link Line train. Every train car carries extra facts. But a car needs the right hook, or it rolls away! The hooks are little words like who, which, where, and when.
The hook points back
The hook word points back to the noun right before it. Is the noun a person? Use who. A thing? Use which or that. A place? Use where. A time? Use when. An owner? Use whose.
Fill the box
Pim's ticket says: the park, blank, we met has a duck pond. The word bank has who, where, when, and which. Step one: find the noun before the blank. Park. Step two: a park is a place. Step three: places get where!
