    Meet Nilo the otter. Nilo is a super reader. Before she reads, she picks a mission card. It tells her why she is reading. Today's mission: find a fact!

  2. Hunt for the key word

    Read the mission first. What keeps otters warm? The key word is warm. Now Nilo reads and hunts for it. Sea otters live in cold water. They have thick, fluffy fur. The fur keeps them warm. Found it!

  3. Mission: busy bees

    New mission: What do the bees turn nectar into? Key word: nectar. A bee sips sweet nectar from flowers. It carries the nectar back to the hive. Inside, the bees turn the nectar into honey. Honey!
