How the lesson starts: Notice Point of View and Voice

Meet Pepper
Squawk! Meet Pepper, a silly parrot. Pepper copies everything people say. But she always forgets who said it! Let's help Pepper match each voice to the right character.
Talking clues
Look for clues about who is talking. I love snow, said Mei. The words said Mei tell you. Kofi shivered. My toes are cold! Kofi's name is right next to his words.
Pepper matches voices
Ben pointed at Zara. You're it, he said. Who said it? The first name is Ben. The word he means Ben too. Zara is just the one he pointed at. So Ben said, you're it!
