  1. Juniper's Lost and Found

    Welcome to Camp Pinecone! Juniper the raccoon runs the Lost and Found. A camper says, I lost my red small backpack. Juniper scratches her head. That sounds jumbled! Describing words have an order.

  2. The adjective parade

    Describing words march in a parade. Opinion goes first, then size, then age. Next come shape and color. Material goes last, right before the noun.

  3. Line them up

    Juniper fixes the tag. Small is size. Red is color. Size comes before color: a small red backpack. Here's another: lovely, old, wooden. Opinion, then age, then material. A lovely old wooden box.
